Great signing for Liverpool in my opinion. Disappointed he didn't come to Spurs. Will Torres now be persuaded to stay at Liverpool?

I don't if this is a good signing...time will show...i don't know why, but i have big doubts about him.

Great man ! ... I think is a good signing because Joe is a magnific midfielder and a lot of teams want to sign him, but Liverpool offer him a very good contract and he is our player now. LFC till I die !

This is a great signing for LFC! Joe Cole will add an extra dimension to our attacking play, he's also English which is great... Hopefully this will convince Torres to stay....!!good luck in the champions league :)

good signing for LFC assuming he stays injury free. Thank god he didn't go to spurs - he is not worth the money (nor breaking our wage structure), he shouldn't start ahead of Bale or Lennon or Modric and therefore would be a reserve player and very unhappy anyway. Now Bellamy on the other hand, let's sell Keano to Villa and bring in Craig. Pace is what we need up front...and he should come cheap.

To be honest i did not see Cole starting ahead of any of our current Attacking midfielders, namely Lennon, Bale or Modric, however this was a player on a free, he could play in ML or AM and due to our increased schedule i think he would get enough playing time to be happy. Also if any one of those 3 get injured we are somewhat thin in quality reserves, especially if Modric is out or Bale. This is obviously a good signing for Liverpool though.

@Chris our reserves are a little thin but if we get bellamy we'd have him covering left and right wing and let's not forget Kranjcar who at times was the best on the field for us. Oh and i forgot about Bentley...ahem (let's give Villa a double pre-Xmas pressie with him and Keane). And what about this Dos santos fella and taarabt? Maybe they have a bit to prove if given a chance.
