But will he be guaranteed first-team action there? He is a great player, but what and who would give way for him? Especially with Ronaldo and Kaka having just come in... But it is a special project.

He wants to play with El Nino- its Liverpool for sure. I can see it now..."Villa willing to take a pay cut and fund his own transfer to the Reds!"

Barcelona also giving 50 million bid for him...which is more than real madrid......as villa doesn't wanna leave spain....i think he will move to Barca......
18.06.2009 08:27
Villa does not fit in the EPL. I would actually suggest he will go to Barcelona and replace Eto'o.
18.06.2009 08:27
liverpool course............he wants to be a part of benitez s army............
18.06.2009 08:28
if its epl .its liverpool only or he ll remain ...........in valencia
18.06.2009 09:01
Real Madrid the only other place he would consider is barca!

Barcelona, they will sell Etoo and then they need a world class striker and Villa has said that he wants to stay in Spain.

The only club in BPL, where he wants to be, is Liverpool, if he can`t play there, he will stay in Spain. It would be great if he came to Liverpool, then we could have the two best strikers in the world:)

theres alot of work for the real madrid manager to do he has to sort all these players out and deal with ronaldos ego when he comes aswell as pick a line up that includes his best cause i dont think kaka ronaldo or villa (if he comes) will tolerate being bench warmers
19.06.2009 03:24
Madrid, he wants to stay in spain and Perez had hinted at as much - and he's getting a track record for backing up his hinted at as much's with signings

@amara he already said he wants to move to madrid but cash straped valencia want to get as much money for him as possible so they dont have to sell silva but madrid dont wana spend that much on villa since they can get forlan for less than valencia are demanding for villa.......... they want around 50 mil for villa forlan has a 30 mil minimum fee clause and forlan was top scorer this year in la liga so madrid arent gona spend more on villa when the top scorer is going for less well they could but there not unless they change there minds

I think he will go to Barca because they are offering 40 million and two players for him. But i would love to see him come and play for United he would never play for those scumbags liverpool
22.06.2009 12:44
It's obvious that he wants to play with liverpool and his spanish teammate torres. Liverpool can't afford him at the moment and they should sell alonso to do so. To real madrid he's surely not going since there are better players then him espcially now with ronaldo and kaka. It's against liverpool and barca. Hope it's LIVERPOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To Gerrard: Well i think Valencia are upping his selling price so if liverpool want him they will have to sell more than alonso.

I think that he will go to liverpool and link up with Torres. That would be an awsome forward line. A worry for all the other premiership teams.

Well, I guess we can rule out Real Madrid - the club's Executive Director Jorge Valdano confirmed that they wont be pursuing him... http://www.footbo.com/News/12460-Jorge_Valdano_Confirms_Real_Madrids_Hunt_For_David_Villa_All_But_Over

There is only one coach who can groom a young player into stardom and perfection- Ferguson-and he has the dime. So why not. Villa can be the next big thing in the footballing world. Go MAN UTD

@Dannybouy - Villa at Old Trafford - lickin my lips already. I think the EPL could do with bringing in a couple of Spanish super stars in any case. Or maybe it should be players from the US haha!

http://www.footbo.com/News/93822-Valencias_David_Villa_Ive_Made_My_Decision - so a move to the EPL now ruled out by the player himself. It's leading to talk of a move to Barca, which is in turn providing fuel to the fire of rumours of Eto'o to Man City. This could be a really interesting summer for transfers!!! I know that any club would be happy to have Villa, but the thought of Eto'o at City is actually quite frightening. If that move materialises, I would start to take them more seriously... Thanks for all the comments! Keep them coming!

Tevez to City, Eto'o to United, Villa to Barcelona.

I think villa stay at valencia for ever
Por  Piku123
03.01.2010 07:55
yea....Valencia is incomplete widout Villa.....
14.01.2010 05:34
So he did stay at Valencia for this season at least and thats only because Real and Barca did not want to pay the 45 million pounds for him. I guess he might stay at Valencia if they qualify for the champions league otherwise he might have to leave for the Premiership, sinc he does not have much choices. He would prefer Liverpool, but i doubt they have the money to buy him and neither does Arsenal, so I guess its going to be Manchester United or Manchester City ( if they qualify for champions league) since Chelsea is already almost sure of getting Sergio Aguero.
