Iker Casillas is the best since he has all the trophies what can be achieved by a football player. Van Der Saar was good many years ago with the legendary Ajax but he is getting a little bit old but he is still great goalkeeper and the MU wouldnt be nothing without him. Valdes ??? The clown ? He is the 3rd or 4th reserve for Spain. The facts talk for themselves

oliver khan, buffon, cassilas these are the best of all time....cassilas is at present best......then comes cech and van der sar...........you guys forgot neuer....he ll be the best in future.....he is a rare talent....since he is not in great teams he is not recognised he ll be the future oliver khan of bayern....

we r not talking about future we r talking about present and presently there is no doubt edwin va der sar is the best gk bcoz at this age of 40 he is so much reflaxive and clever he saves the most powerful shots of lampard and gerrard that is why he is the best and forever but yeah casillas is also very fantastic gk no doubt but van der sar is better.......

it's not that v/dr sar is so good alisha, it's because chelsea made mistakes in the last game they lost against manU. true, when he was younger he was a great goalie, but now it's time to say manU goodbye.

I'm a barca fan and i know valdes is not among the best goalkeepers in the world, and casillas, cech, vandersaar, are all better than him, but valdes is good enough for barca. A smart observer would never mention particular incidents to base their judgements like you have, mentioning "valdes cant even stop a goal from arshavin and cr7". Thats the most ridiculous judgement ive heard, and shows how much you know about football. Valdes, even though not as good as these few, has been doing an excellent job. As for barca, biased and self obessed madrid fans like you will never admit, but gratitude would be to accept are barca are currently better than madrid. Which has been proved by barca winning la liga 3 years in a row and also knocking madrid out of the champions league this season.

We should not forget the fact that the Barca has won the CL 4 times only and they have been champions 21 times which is no way near to Real Madirid's succes. 31 La Liga and 9 Champions League titles. However, the catalans can only beat such clumsy team as MU. They will need at least 10-15 years to get close at all. Keep on trying hahhahahaha

Barca dominated both the games against madrid, and madrid were lucky to escape with just 1 red in the 2 games, alonso, diarra, adebayor, marcelo, carvalho, all should have seen red too. It was surprising to see how Barca dominated both games, madrid were pretty much defending most of the time, and anyone who saw those games would say Barca were by far the better team in both games and they were also the only team who wanted to play football, with madrid just defending and fouling. Anyways, we are Barca, we dont cry like madridistas, we are much bigger and better than that. We are Champions of Europe!!! Maybe the best team ever. Keep believing guys. There was only one match for trophy last year (Copa Del Rey). This title had taken by Madrid which proves that if it comes to a real important match the Real Madrid will win. Iker is the best, quite ovbiously. He is extremely consistent and has played 15 years for Real and been involved in some iconic moments in both Spain and Reals' history. 3 European cups, a world cup and Euro championship. What's in-store for seasons 2011?? Another European cup?? He has certainly been involved in the changing of football this gen. This brought Spain and Barcelonas' success.

Van Der Sar isnt much when facing spanish team such as Barca..cuz Barca play fast paced football and van der sar experienced only Dutch league and EPL which is using more physical football. as for valdez, he cant contribute much cuz he play bhind great puyol and pique..but hes doing great in Barca.
