we have 4 strikers and at least 3 who can play attacking midfield - we don't need him.

Agree, prob dont really need him, and if we have some cash to spend, then I would prefer we bring in some younger talent. Gudjohnsen is a class player, but havent seen him play in a while...

Theres talk of Keane or Pav moving on to make way for him? Cant believe he loaned out Giovani might be the last we see of him.

well, the funny thing about the GDS situations is that we are apparently in for his younger brother Jonathan, who is still at Barca...

Just heard that weve signed Gudjohnson on loan until the end of the season. Harry seems to be going with experianced players instead of giving the young players a chance. Cant really see where Gudjohnson is guna fit in. GDS if still at Barca would be in that side probably playing more games than what he is for us.

Unhappy we got rid of Giovanni. About Gud, i never really liked him much, he is very average and probably less of a striker than any of our 4, so if this is a replacement for one of them, then we will end up weaker i think. If however it is just back up for GDS which moved, then maybe it makes sense as it will give GDS some time to play more and gain experience which he needs and Gud has the expereince to play as a good cover in several positions such as MR or AM as well as forward.

@Dan - Dude, and I speak for Laporta when i say this, after what you guys did with GDS, we are definitely not ruining another upcoming star's career by sending him to Spurs. As for Gudjohnsen, he was converted into a central or attacking midfielder for Barca, and he did average in his 3 years there. He's got good ball control and must have learn a thing or 2 about ball distribution from Xavi. I presume he is at Spurs, to be a cover for Huddlestone, since Jenas has deteriorated, and not in Spurs to play as a striker.
