Firstly i would dumb Modric, i have had enough of him and frankly speaking he is WAY overrated. He is an AM which is undersized, does not score enough and it is very tough playing him and Vaart at the same time anyway. I would sell him for 30m + Sturridge and i think Chelsea will agree to that. I would then get rid of Pavs, he is 29, not getting any better. He cannot run, he is "soft" and is a poor team player, besides getting 7-8m from a team like Anzhi will be relatively easy. In his place i would get Ruiz from Vitesse. He is 25y old with a good record for scoring, his price will be around 15m, i think him and Sturridge will be a better younger option in the place of Pavs and Keane.I am not too certain about the Adebayor option which is being discussed, he is always a problem where he goes, but if we can agree a decrease in wages in return for a pay off (i heard Man C will agree a free), then i think Adebayor would be a good replacement for Crouch which is older and is not good up front alone (which Adebayor is much better at). I think we can easilly get Crouch sold at 8m to stoke, but even if that does not go through a Crouch, Defoe, Ruiz and Sturridge attack should do the job.Palacios is a decent DM, but a terrible passer, 7m for him to Stoke and getting Diarra for 6m is perfect. They play the same position and is younger, better passer and knows Redknapps style.Jenas is done and keeping him around will limit the paying time of players like Livermore and Townsend, i heard Italian and Turkish teams are interested, so we should be able to get 6-7m for himI never liked Corluka at Right back and at CD he is not good enough, with the emergence of Walker, he has no place period. Sell him off for 7m, i heard Liverpool are interested and at 7m we can get him sold off.Barton is on a free, he can play a DM or CM role, so go for it. He is also a decent set piece taker, which we lack. I would go for him as cover in the middle.With Woodgate gone, Corluka also gone, King always injured and Kumalho (or whatever his name) on loan, we will need someone at CB because we only have Kaboul, Dawson, Gallas (which is questionable due to age) and Bassong (which i do not rate and is lightweight). Rumors go around about Samba, which is a good battering ram type, but i consider Dawson that type and Kaboul can take on that role also. I would prefer a more "technical" CB. If we cannot get in someone, maybe we can keep Corluka as a back up. I personally would offload both Bassong and Bentley, both have some "resell" value now and i cannot see them ever being more than backups. Either way these 2 are probably at their prime now and are still not good enough, just off load them at 10-12m combined and get in some younger prospects. I would keep Santos on the right, but Redknapp does not rate him for some reason and i am not sure why Redknapp does not play Kranjkar more in the center behind the attackers, at least as a regular rotation player.
