Well, if it wasn't a Barcelona onslaught, then i don't know what else it was. I have always said Barca is the current symbol of pure quality and class, and that Messi is the real deal, while people confuse Ronaldo's ego for skill (not to say that he's not skilled but he's just way overrated). The man is simply not effective enough in crucial matches. Remember he's the same  guy who missed two penalties in last year's campaign, one in the semis at Nou Camp and another in the final's shoot-out. Lucky enough Man U won thanks to John Terry's unluck. This time around it wasn't about luck, it was about who's got quality. Ronaldo was simply anonymus. To be fair last night's match was nothing less than United taking a battering, being outclassed. The unbiased english commentator is my witness, they were chasing shadows! I did say before the match that it would be a massacre, I didn't really mean that, but my, it almost turned into one! if only Puyol was more of a winger than a full back, and Xavi had been a little bit luckier with the free kick....
