what do u think about play-off matches? Who will travel to South Africa.
I think the system that's organized in the way' bigger teams against smaller' is not fair. The reason is that FIFA wants bigger team in the WC. I'm not happy that Bosnia plays against Portugal, not because I think we can't solve this step and win against Portugal. The fact is that I really like Portugal.:)
I'm not frighten of 'em at all, they have gr8 players but they're not good team all together like our guys are. I'm not frightened of them as I'm frightened of refs. They're always against us....
What to say? I personally want to c Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia in WC and for others I don't care.
France is so boring and they worked very hard to go to play-off and of course the refs are always with them.
Greece plays defending football that's so boring and poor.
I like Ireland and wish 'em good luck.
About Russia, great team with perfect players and amazing team, for them I'm sure they will qualify:))

I totally agree with you that this system is not fair at all, and, more, FIFA announced it just a little before the end of the group stage matches. But, what is done, is done. Let's see what happens.About the teams that are going to South Africa, there are 9 places remaining. I'm gonna tell my guesses in all continents:Europe:Ireland x France - Tough match, but I think France gets through it Portugal x Bosnia and Herzegovina - It is tough too. I think the surprise is going to be here, with Bosnia winning the playoff. Greece x Ukraine - The teams are leveled. Ukraine qualifies because they'll decide at home. Russia x Slovenia - Russia is the big favorite in this match. Russia goes to WCContinues...

Oh, gosh... 2 comments, and Firefox messing up the text... :( The playoffs in Asia, Oceania and Americas: Uruguay x Costa Rica - Uruguay goes; Bahrein x New Zealand - New Zealand goes. And, in Africa, I bet in Cameroon, Tunisia and Egypt. Well, Elma, let's see what happens, and, as I told you, I hope that Bosnia qualifies (but I like Portugal, too). And I already see: Brazil x Bosnia in Johannesburg! :P

FIFA should have told everyone about this decision to seed the draw before the qualification process got under way! It's pretty obvious they just want to make the most money out of it and they're not going to do that if the likes of France and Portugal aren't there. Hopefully Bosnia can make it along with Ukraine and Russia! I'd rather see France there instead of Ireland though due to a football prejudice of mine!! :-)))

what do you people think about the idea of FIFA throwing play-off teams from all continents into the same draw, so we could have a european team play against a south american side, vice verca? and if ever to be seeded, then it should be informed so from the beginning???

here's my idea of the World Cup: all the teams from the world play against each other, and whichever has the most points by the end wins! same goes for the European Cup

My dear Elma .... do not think there a better way to solve it other than playing the games, could be anyone and yet it was Portugal, I think that Bosnia has the merits to defeat the Portuguese and of course I aspire to that so be it ... A hug for you ...

I don't think that new system will matter too much, 'cause every team can concentrate on one-two matches and besides the favourite one could think that the job's done and make mistakes, so even weaker teams have pretty big chances to get through play-off. Everything could happen, really. And current form of Portugal/France is not good (I think such teams must qualify directly and the fact that they didn't, shows they are not great now). Anyway, I would like to see Bosnia in SA.

sometimes we think that our national teams, just because they don´t have the best players on mayor leagues, can´t deal with those who are to be "the best". Now a days, soccer is changing in many ways, evolving in some other. Is it really a fact that Portugal is a "Big Team"? or is it just because they once had a player named "figo" or "rui costa" or "deco"... or "ronaldo"? Portugal stopped to amaze people for quiet some time now, the same as Argentina and Brazil. Let´s remember that Brazil´s campaign for this world cup wasn´t that great, their level is note at it´s best anymore. Same as Argentina, they got the last place on quilifying and a horrible status among the other southamerican teams, but hey, they still got Messi, Mascherano, Tevez and many many other players that, TODAY, play on the mayor soccer leagues. I´m talking about this big things that are actually making a difference around the world. Think about it, Bosnia has a "team together", that means more than having a team filed up with stars, but falling apart. Bosnia has more than we all think, I´ve seen their game play. Take a look at Chile, they are the youngest players, but they "are together" and quialified in 2nd place for southamerica. Would definitily like to see Bosnia and Slovenia on this WC, they really have what it takes.

France,Greece,Russia,Uruguay,Bahrein goes to SA. Sto se tice Bosne i Portugala, eto kao i vecina ovde,zbog tebe se nadam da ce Bosna... Pa jos zamisli sa Srbijom u grupi?! I dobijemo vas 5:0 i ti prekines prijateljstvo sa mnom... :-)

Bella Life is Not Fair and FIFA only cares about making the most Profits and that means that the Teams with the Big Star Players will make it to the WC-By Hook or By Crook-I HOPE BOSNIA GET THERE-(4U),Russia(4 Andrey)and The Irish(4 the Guiness-lo)

Dear Elma I like to see a good world cup in South Afrika. 2006 was really boring after ferst stage.Italy lucky i think.Argentina should have been instead, stupid coach took of best playmaker Riquelme.Sorry Elma but its going to happen this time for Bosnia. asia cup? i dunno... too soon... i was present at a fitness exam of the east bengal team recently and 'cept for bhaichung, all other indian players were quite unfit... bhaichung had good calf muscles... but the rest were pathetic... we have the skill to do well... but our national team's fitness is way below par...

as we won afc challenge cup last yr beating Tajikistan...we get d chance 2 play in asia cup 2011 directly.....n u in d fitness xam of EB!!!!!!!......n frm EB only 3-4 players r in Indian national team...... though i don't like d ways india plays now much.....but Bob Houton is really a good coach......

yeah... i had gone for a routine scan (once a quarter)... i didnt take any autographs... :P i knw we qualified 4 the asia cup, but i dont think we have a good chance of doin anything without fit players...
