Veteran Inter Milan defender Ivan Cordoba is keen to extend his stay at the San Siro beyond the end of his current contract, which expires at the end of the season.
Cordoba, 35, has spent 12 years at Inter since arriving from San Lorenzo in 1999, playing more than 400 games for the Nerazurri and winning 15 major titles with the club, including the 2010 Champions League.
The Colombia international has been used more sparingly in recent years and only made his first appearance of the season when coming on as a substitute in last week’s 2-1 defeat to Catania.
