Months I had to wait for this moment. Bayern Munich is finally number 1 again in the Bundesliga. Finally and completely is the nightmare Klinsmann forgotten.
Now we are first again and everything seems to be on track to be Champion of the Bundesliga once more.

The last year or so have not been an easy one as a fan and not only was Klinsmann a nightmare also it looked like Uli Hoeness would lose it. Although Bayern has not played that great the last matches it is good enough to take the league easily and also to play a key role in the Champions League.

In my opinion the main reason for the change is Luis van Gaal. If you look at the history of this club, they were always successful when there was quite in the club. This was the case under Lattek and under Ottmar Hitzfeld and now you have it again. One does not hear of stars who are unhappy because they have to sit on the bench and you do not hear much criticism of the club (with the exception of the famous Lahm interview). And he was clever enough to realize that he cannot torture us with the infamous duo in midfield: Mark van Bommel and Tymoschuk together.

Luis van Gaal knows what he is doing, has a clear strategy and vision and he brought Robben. With Robben and Ribery, Bayern gained what they needed most. They needed creativity, they needed a lethal weapon that can crack any team, even if they play with 10 defenders. Van Gaal was willing to change the Bayern game for Robben and put national star, Miroslav Klose on the bench. For now it seems that he was right about everything.

So as a fan I can only sit back and enjoy the show. The next milestone is the game against Fiorentina. After our Champions League game against Juventus Turin, I do not fear anything anymore.
