Yes, we have been linked with Eden Hazard for a long time. So he is well and truly on the radar.

But no, we probably won't be signing him?

Why? We probably don't especially need another midfielder. He's going to be too expensive because he's on a long-term deal at Lille.

Also the very fact he's on the radar may put Arsene Wenger, as he always likes to surprise us on the transfer front. And very often does.

I actually believe Arsenal will be very busy bringing players in this summer.

I can't see an experienced keeper joining plus two centre backs (bearing in mind we could lose Gallas, Silvestre and Sol Campbell). Even Wenger must admit we need another centre back as we  are bound to lose at least one of the aforementioned. Plus, I know it's no real loss, but Senderos will be offski this summer on a free.

But then again, Wenger may choose to push Kyle Bartley and Luke Ayling higher in the pecking order. After all, I don't think Bartley chose to join us to rot in the reserves. He looks a class act and it may have to prove it next season.
