Sol Campbell's career is probably nearly finished. I hope he re-signs though.

As for Upson, I prefer him to Senderos, but West Ham fans have had enough of him, so that's not a glowing recommendation! I never understood why we sold him. He seemed to love Arsenal.

I remember Upson waxing lyrical about Arsenal in a press conference when he was on loan at Reading. Not much of what he said made the newspapers, but it was clear Matty loved Arsenal.

That's not why I liked him though. I think he had a bit more pace than Senderos (not sure about now, as injuries may have taken their toll) and I feel quite sure he's physically tougher. But, he's prone to errors and we can't really have that at Arsenal...especially not if he's going to cost £7m!
