The next shocker for the football community. Everybody (including me though the French international would move to Manchester United or Arsenal and then...once again it was Real Madrid who made the headlines yesterday.

Where do they get all the money from? This could be either become one of the greatest teams of all time, or the biggest flop of all time.

Personally I do not think that Benzema fits well to Real. It is very crowded there up front, and while Benzema is on paper a striker, he is more the kind of striker that prepares the goals rather than to be the killer himself. With Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Raul the foreward positions are more or less covered.



I would have expected that Benzema would move to Mancheste United or Arsenal. Their playing style would have fitted better to the French striker in my opinion.

Now I do not see them buying Franck RIbery as well. Even Real Madrid should run out of money at one point. 

Looks like this years transfer period is full of surprises.
