Palace Baltimore and Montreal square off for final time in 2010

Crystal Palace Baltimore and the Montreal Impact will meet for the fourth and final time this season on Saturday afternoon at Paul Angelo Russo Stadium in Towson.

Baltimore has earned at least one point in all three matches against the Impact this season, winning once and drawing twice. In their first matchup on July 18, Baltimore pulled out a 2-1 victory in front of a sellout crowd at Saputo Stadium. Gary Brooks and Andrew Marshall each tallied a goal for the visitors. The teams played to a 1-1 draw on July 31 at Maryland SoccerPlex, and in the return trip to Montreal on August 11, Baltimore held on for a 0-0 draw, thanks to the brilliant goalkeeping of Evan Bush. Montreal fired 24 shots toward goal in that contest, 13 of which were saved by Bush.

Both teams come into Saturday's contest with three points on their minds, as the chase for the playoffs winds down. Montreal is winless in their last five games; their last victory came on July 21 against AC St. Louis. The Impact (6-10-7) are currently in ninth place with 25 points on the season. Baltimore (6-11-6) has only one victory in their previous five contests; their season total of 24 points leaves Palace two points behind Tampa Bay for the eighth and final playoff spot.
