Ivan Klasnic's second half strike maintained Croatia's 100% start to the tournament and consigned Poland to elimination at the first round stage.

Poland needed a handsome win over Croatia to stand any chance of progression, but despite making a host of changes, Slaven Bilic's side still had too much quality for the Poles.

The goal came deep into the second half, as Croatia broke into the Poland half.  Danijel Pranjic latched onto a loose ball on the left flank and pulled the ball back for Klasnic, whose crisp first-time strike found the bottom corner of the net.

Croatia's win cements their place as Group B winners and puts them through to the quarter finals, where they will face Turkey in what promises to be an exciting clash.
