I love soccer. The words "All Day I Dream About Soccer" is true to me. But I just don't love soccer, soccer has changed my life.

    It's not too hard to explain. I've always enjoyed playing soccer since I was a kid, but I didn't realize my love for soccer (or football) till I was in junior high. That was when I moved overseas and was introduced to the international soccer scene. I was amazed. The first team I saw on TV was Manchester United and from that moment I was hooked. The way they ran with the ball, the way they scored, the way they did just about everything was mezmorizing. 

    Since then, I've lived with this soccer bug. I've watched hours and hours of matches, played at least 1000 minutes of football, and just lived football for the past 6 years. 
    
    I don't really know how it happened, but soccer has changed my view of the world too. They say sports in general tend to bring people together, but soccer does it the best. I've seen enemies take time out from killing each other to play soccer with each other. I've seen how globalism is infecting soccer transfers and how nationalism gets a whole new meaning when applied to soccer. Ask a Mexican what's at stake when they play the USA and they'll tell you that it's national pride. Now I know Americans love their sports but I don't think most of us care too much if the USA team wins or loses. Just for the record, I care that much. I watch every single USA match hoping and praying that they'll win.
    
    I just love soccer. Soccer helps me relieve some stress in my life too. I've spent hours in the gym kicking soccer balls against a wall to get rid of anger. I'm just saying soccer has changed my life and view of the world.
