Can Zoran Tosic make it big at Utd??

ZORAN TOSIC
recently signed for Manchester United from Partizan Belgrade, and already comparisons have started between him and legendary Reds winger Ryan Giggs.

Though the Serb has different attributes from the Welsh wing wizard, the former's more direct approach being a bit of a contrast to the latter's silky style of play, Tosic is being dubbed the next big winger at Utd.

Nicknamed 'Bambi' owing to his lean build, the physical aspect of his game isn't his strongest, giving the critics much scope for saying he is not strong enough for the League, and Sir Alex himself said he would be eased into the frame of things, but it is hard to argue with the quality he has shown in his career so far, both at Partizan and with the Serbian national and U-21 teams.

Boasting a lethal left foot, especially from set-pieces, and an eye for goal which is the mark of a natural talented goal-scorer, it is easy for the fans to get carried away with their expectations, but with the injury crisis at United making it seem like he will be seen in action sooner rather than later, can he prove his critics wrong and fulfill the abundance of potential he has shown?

What do you think??

it's too early to play him in the league - even though utd's plagued with injuries .. and that too in the month of jan when we don't even usually lead the table .. probably would've to play him the FA cup to get some big crowd exposure and big game experience ... coz i don't think he's a rafael who'd go and blast one into the net even if the oppnnts Arsenal

Bambi is a great talent, from the prosperous Serbian youth team who played in U19, U21 EU championship finals and semifinals on sveral occasions which did not happen for Serbia for a long time, since former Yugoslavia team. We (serbs) hope he will develop into great player under Sir Alex, like some young spanish players have developed into world class players in England despite coming young in premier league, they got their chance and learned to play best football.

@Ankit i m sure he'll b played in d FA Cup n maybe Carling Cup before d League, but circumstances might force Fergie's hand 2 play him earlier dan expected N i think he can do well, and take 2 d stage in a Rafaelish way

@Ognjen United is probably d best club 4 him 2 develop into a gr8 player n really blossom, and i m sure u will have followed him longer He is a great talent, we all know that, but living up to potential is something many players often have trouble doing, especially given the physical nature of the Premier League That is really probably the only question mark--can he adapt 2 d physical side of things Being a Utd fan, i hope he can

It is easier of you have the talent to grow muscles, but if you have only muscels hardly you'll learn to be talented :)

Maybe @Alexander is right, but at this point it is a great honnour to any Serbian player to go in Manchester United. We hope he will get a chance and take advantage of it ...
