Torres,Messi,Ronaldo,The 2008 FIFA Football Player of the Year
 Who will it be? In my view I think the best player in the world a present is Cristiano Ronaldo.

He hasn't been as prolific this season compared to last season but nevertheless, I think he is the number 1 contender this year. My 2 and 3 would be Messi and Torres. Messi is amazing, and has played well for Barça this year. His running with the ball is undoubtedly the best in the world. And Fernando Torres this year has been a scoring machine for Liverpool. I don't think he'll win this year, but both him and Messi shouldn't have hit their peaks yet.

ROnaldo had an excelent first 6 months, continuing his excelent last season.. winning with Man U the premier and CHampions... Messi is the best player since the Olympic games.. so the decision is between them... in my opinion, Messi is better!

i dont know how you can both say that messi has been better than ronaldo. ronaldo has been tightly marked this season but he has still bagged a fair few goals... messi might be the player to come, but for the moment, it has to be ronaldo (even if he is a little diving cheat at times!)
