The season hasn't begun and already things aren't looking to great for
the Gunners
.
It seems that Wenger can never get a "lucky break" (excuse the pun), and just when it looked like we could be in for some good times - I am referring to RvP signing a new deal and the return of Rosicky to the fold - we get struck down.
On this occasion, it's our little wonder
Samir Nasri
, who I personally was pinning a lot of our hopes on for the coming season. With Adebayor gone, it's left to
Eduardo
(needs to get into the flow of things), Bendtner (could do worse, but we could also do a lot better), Arshavin (can't wait for the next season) and Nasri (now out for 3 months with a broken leg).
Nasri fractured his right fibula on Tuesday morning, which I guess technically doesn't count as a break. But still, Nasri will miss the crucial opening weeks of the Premier League season
Nasri will miss the opening weeks of the Premier League season and will be hoping to return to action at some stage in October.
A statement on the club's official website stated that: "Samir Nasri has sustained a fractured fibula during this morning's training session at the club's pre-season training camp in
Austria
. The midfielder will be out of action for two to three months."
I am sure this will pose one or two headaches for Wenger, as Nasri was bound to be one of the first names on Wenger's starting XI team sheet.
I hope he recovers quickly and that the Gunners can show how mighty we are, even without one of our little superstars.

I think that it is a shame that Samir has broken his leg, but it is not too much of a problem now that Rosicky is fit again and we have enough cover in the midfield anyway.... I believe that we will make a good start to the season, better than last season (which will not be hard)... Watch out the gooners are back!!!!

Poor poor gooners! @Les - I thought Rosicky was seen as a replacement for Adebayor by Wenger. Correct me if I am wrong...
