Is the Old Firm getting Old? Should they move to England?
Por Alan Murphy
As a huge Rangers fan, I've recently become bored of seeing Rangers vs Celtic every other week, I mean sure since the split happened, we've played each other 4 times a season, but this season we've had 5 and still have 2 more to go. Seven times in one season is too much for any team to play each other especially your rivals. The last matches, before Wednesday night were boring, and the Old Firm, I felt, didn't have the passion that previous ones have had. However, as of Wednesday nights game, the passion showed by the fans, players and staff, proves that it's still there.

It may not be what it used to be, but i fell in love all over again with the Old Firm Wednesday and I hope it continues. Maybe not to that extent as it makes everyone in Scottish football look bad, as if we don't look bad enough already. For some reason I don't understand why it has to involve violence outside of the game, I mean yes, shouting and screaming at the other half of supporters during the match, I'm all good for, but as soon as the referee blows for full-time it should be over, until next time they meet. And, yes for a while it was just that, but now as we begin to play more and more Old Firm games each season, it becomes intense and especially in the short amount of time that it's happened this season.

Should Rangers and Celtic be allowed to move to the English leagues? Why not? Both clubs have a great history, known across the world, but at the moment I agree that we shouldn't. It's not time to move down south for them as Catholic and Protestant is still in between both clubs, and that's what puts me off Rangers and Celtic, why that should get in the way of football. I believe they will move at some point but that will be years from now, and when they do, they'll become a lot more successful, as both clubs need it.
