A  coach must  recognized  that  there is one fundamental achievement which define success in the field of  sports and  this  is  winning. losers  are  often ignored and  winners  are  generally  acclaimed. haha.. One's  guy's a bum and  the other's a hero. Perhaps, there is not so much emphasis placed on  winning in your  organization, particularly  Where the young ones are  concerned  and  the  accent is rightly placed on active participation. Yet winning  is always  part of  our  lives same  through  with  success. Those people  who hired you as  coach must  expect you to take a positive approach towards  being  successful.

              However, in playing  with youngsters, this goal must  stand on the very foundation of 3 basic considerations :  1st of all,  a  coach must endeavor to build the soccer program in school, sports club and organization. There are 2 chief things to take into account in doing this. Whenever  possible, a coach must  recruit  talents and maintain  an  ample  flow of  newcomers as in having  try outs. A few good  players  can make your  team  respectable  in a hurry  and  also  that  sports program  should  become a  new interest  for  the parents of  the players, associates, and  other  members of the community  concerned  with  whom you have contact  on regular  basis. When  working with this group of  people. public  relations is  very  important. One good tip is to  scoff  at  them  and  they will  ridicule  you  back  to the  program. On the other hand, When you  show them that you are  doing  your best  with  Soccer, while  expressing  mutual concern  and   cooperation  with them in what  they  are  doing regarding  the sport, they  might  give you a  helping  hands as well.

               Secondly, a coach also becomes an  educator and  facilatator when  working  with  Kids and  young  adults in the  neighbourhood  and  so  you must be  challenged  by  the responsibility  towards  those in your  charged. therefore, teach  them  the  rules, how to play  the  game  properly  and  sportmanship  as well. They  should  learn  that  Soccer  is  a  great  game  and  fun  to  play  but  then  success  comes  through  preparedness  and  hard  work. Giving  them cause  to  remember the experience  favorably, as having  been  made better  individuals  through  sports.

               Finally and  most important of all.. as a  coach, you  have to know  What  you're doing. In order to be an  effective coach,  you  not only  have to  understand the  rules.. you  have  to  understand  the  game as  well. Yes, true.. compare  to  other  ball games, Soccer  seems  to be simple but  then there is a lot  to it  which  is  not  readily  apparent  as with any  sports.

              Improving  Team  performance is  the  key  to  winning. This however  involves a  spectrum  of  considerations  which  can be generalized  into 4  criteria : 1.  learned  skills 
  2.  Physical  ability  and  preparedness
  3.  Learned  tactics
  4.  Mental  ability  and  preparedness.

            Team performance  is  affected  when  there  is  a  weakness in  any  of  these  criteria  mentioned. As a coach,  you  must be  able  to  diagnosed  any  weakness When  your  team  is  doing  poorly  in  performance  level  and  so  you have  the  knowledge to  do  something  about it. Being a  successful  coach is not  an easy  task, but one's achievement overall  does have a  tendency to be proportional  to the  effort  being  put into  the  job  plus  competency is  also  important. This  is  easier  when  you  believe that  you  know  What  you  are  doing. Of  course, the  more you  know  about  any  subject, the  greater  confidence you  will  have  in  dealing  with it. The  coach  know  what  is  important  as  well as  what is  right  and   wrong  in teaching skills  and  tactics. The importance of  conditioning  must  be  understood as well as  the  role of  mental  attitude  plays  in performance. In  training  sessions, a  coach  must  know  What  to  stress and  there  should  be a  sufficient  variety  of  good  and  useful  drills. 
 
            A  coach  must  be  able  to  convey  his  knowledge  to   youngsters. Once you  have  the  background  and  confidence you need, sugar  it  with  a  little   enthusiasm  amd  keep  things  interesting  and  lively.  Just  be fair  and   serious and  your  players  will  respect  you  and   believe  What  you are  telling  them  to  do. They  will  expect  from  a  coach  to  give  them a  proper  training  and  teach  them  how  to win in a  game.
