The MLS Cup final looks to a very tough battle. The New York Red Bulls and Columbus Crew will both be heading towards their first final.

NYRB has a very talented squad. With the likes of Juan Pablo Angel and others, Columbus will find it difficult to win. However, the Crew aren't without their stars. With players like Schlelatto and and Ekpo, they should be able to do well.

My prediction is that the New York will win, 2-1.

The Crew are #2 in goals scored this year, #3 in goals against. In a final, good to have both sides going for you. Crew win, 2-0.

No question at all--the Crew wins this match. They won the league (the "regular season", called the "supporters sheild") in MLS before the playoffs (basically a cup competition). As a Crew season ticket holder and supporter, I've seen both teams play this year and Columbus is the much higher quality side. That being said, NY is playing very well at the moment and their young replacement goalkeeper is making amazing saves. My prediction: Crew 3-1 NY. GBS, Evans, and Epko on the scoresheet. I do like the Iro goal prediction--he scored an amazing header a few weeks back and will be a regular--and one of the strongest--defenders in MLS for years to come.
