Possible Transfer
Por Julie D'Souza
Looking at the money involved with Manchester City and Chelsea to spend during the January transfer window, we could be in for lots of drama. Also very strange rumours going the Real Madrid are going to make a massive bid for Wayne Rooney in the next transfer window and now fresh reports suggest that they might make a $63 Million bid for Milan star Alexandre Pato. Arsenal have also squashed the rumours that they want to sign Marouane Chamakh. While Sir Alex Ferguson still standing firm about his decision not to purchase any players, looking at the recent run of results we can't be quite sure what would happen. An early exit from 3rd round of FA cup after more than 2 decades, we could see some new additions. The Valencia Duo David Villa and David Silva could bring back the attacking style united are famous for. Also possible additions to Manchester United could be Yoann Gourcuff, the former AC Milan. With united looking poor in the play making department, Yoann could be perfect addition.

I dont think Ronney will leave United to join Real Madrid, but considering the drama in the football transfer world, if that happens, then manu will shake hard, no doubt about that. That FA cup exit is not just a unlucky narrow, Leeds were dominated the game by pocession and doing so at Old trafford against the champions is something great.

I have always admired SAF's ability to recover from losing his big stars, I think he has successfully built a team around Rooney and finally he is enjoying his new roll at Old Trafford -personally, it'll be a shame to see him leave EPL- and if this transfer does happen. I'd love to see Furgie's contingency plan. Real Madrid's ridiculous shopping spree fueled with increasing debts and unreal evaluations will raise some serious question marks in transfer window even for big spenders including Manchester City and Chelsea (we all know about Wenger... There is no way Rooney will leave United and he will definitely not leave England. He is one of the many english players that only wants to live in England. Furthermore, the whole focus is on him, now that Ronaldo has gone, and United will not want to make money by losing their only reliable player.
