As the rumors about Arsenal signing Thierry Henry grow stronger, Per Mertesacker says Arsenal should re-sign Thierry Henry, and then go all out for Lukas Podolski in January.

Henry is currently training with Arsenal during the MLS winter break and Arsene Wenger is hoping to sign him as soon as January 1st, so that he can play against Fulham next week. Arsenal would pay Henry £70,000-a-week wages and cover the insurance costs. Talks are said to be progressing well with Major League Soccer.
