It has been a difficult time as an Arsenal fan and tomorrow's is one fixture where we need to win more desperately then we probably ever did. Given any other day, i would have comfortably predicted an Arsenal rout but this is not any other day. It is going to be a challenge, can the players put back the disappointments of the weeks before and show their true class and calibre or shall we sink deeper into the realms of ignominy. Uncertainity shrouds as Stoke visit the Emirates, 11Gunners previews the game..
We don't know which Arsenal will take the field tomorrow, the one which casually outclassed oppositions or the one which seemed aimless and unimaginative against Sunderland and Chelsea. That has been our story thus far. The key players we usually rely on, the likes of Arshavin, Eduardo and Rosicky have been inaccurate, ineffective and thus unimpressive. The result has been a paucity of goals and points.
Though given the quality we have, it seems an issue of confidence more than anything else and that transformation one believes has to intiate tomorrow. We are not without our share of concerns ahead of this one. Song is out suspended after accumulating 5 bookings. Theo Walcott is also an absentee after an hamstring injury but Sagna will be back to guard a defence that has been at sixes and sevens more often than not.
At home we have been superbly fluent apart from the Chelsea match but Stoke are capable of ruffling a few feathers as they did last season at the Britannia Stadium.
MATCH PREDICTION
Arsenal 2-0 Stoke
Yes, we shall get back to winning ways starting tomorrow, I expect Eduardo to get onto the scoresheet, he's long overdue a goal or two.
All Gooners hope that we get to see the fluent, scintillating and true Arsenal tomorrow and Let the healing process begin!!
