Should Arsenal try to nick Suarez from under Tottenham's noses?
Por 360footbal...

Luis Suarez of Ajax looks set to join Spurs. Tottenham's former Martin Jol (now Ajax boss) has confirmed Spurs were in touch last winter about the 23-year-old Uruguay international.

Suarez is prolific in the Dutch league, so shouldn't Arsenal think about making a bid for the Ajaz striker? If Arsenal did take an interest it would push the price up at least, so it might be worth scouting him for that reason alone.

Meanwhile, Jol has denied taking a pop at Spurs and saying Suarez is too good for them. Usually, when you hear that sort of thing the player in question ends up at Arsenal, doesn't he? Or am I just kidding myself?

In an interview with French newspaper L'Equipe, Bayern Munich centre-back Daniel Van Buyten has revealed that Olympique Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will join the Bavarian club in the summer. http://www.footballpress.net/?action=read&idsel=58442

thanks for that link...it's bad news for Arsenal if Lloris is not coming, as the Gunners desperately need a decent keeper...on Suarez, realistically, I can see him getting sold for big money so that will probably rule Arsenal out
